For families who would like first selection at Puppy Picking, we offer a limited Premium Picking Position.

This optional upgrade guarantees first choice during our Puppy Picking event for your selected size and gender in the next qualifying litter.

We offer only one male and one female Premium Picking Position per litter, making availability extremely limited.

Premium Picking is offered on a first come, first served basis when positions become available.

Important Notes

If Purkey Puppies retains a puppy from a litter for our breeding program, our retained breeder selection takes priority. Premium Picking Position guarantees first selection among the remaining available puppies.

Premium Picking secures selection order only and does not include Breeding Rights unless purchased separately.

Training Program

Early Foundation Training From Age 8–12 Weeks

Give your puppy the best possible start. Our Early Foundation Training program focuses on building calm, confident, family-ready companions during the most important developmental window of a puppy’s life.

This 4-week structured program includes:

Calm Temperament Conditioning
We shape relaxed, balanced behavior by rewarding calmness and preventing overstimulation. Puppies learn how to settle, self-regulate, and rest peacefully.

Crate Training Foundation
Puppies are gently introduced to structured crate routines. By the time they go home, they are comfortable resting in a crate and beginning overnight sleep habits.

Potty Training Start
We establish consistent potty routines after waking, meals, and play. Puppies begin associating the correct location with elimination, making house training easier for new owners.

Manners & Bite Control
We teach appropriate play behavior, reduce excessive biting, and encourage gentle interaction.

Confidence & Socialization
Puppies are safely exposed to sounds, surfaces, gentle handling, and controlled interaction to build confidence and emotional stability.

Early Training Foundations
Introduction to name recognition, recall (“come”), and gentle leash awareness.

Owner Transition Support
Includes take-home training guide, progress summary, and transition advice for a smooth move into your home.

Result: A calmer, more confident puppy that adjusts faster, cries less, and is a great new addition to your family.

Limited to two spots per litter.

Enrollment opens once we have worked through the full waitlist for litter placement.

Enrollment is first come, first serve- commitment must be made inside our system via email communication.

Breeding Rights

For approved families interested in future breeding, we offer a limited Breeding Rights Upgrade.

This upgrade provides formal authorization to breed your Purkey puppy in accordance with our program standards and expectations.

We are deeply committed to preserving the health, temperament, and integrity of our Goldendoodles. Because of this, Breeding Rights are not automatically granted and may require additional discussion to ensure alignment with our values and breeding practices.
